ADDRESS BY DUKE OF KENT. CALL ON OLDER SEAMEN. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) / LONDON, July 5. The Duke of Kent, in a speech before the General Council of King George's Fund for Sailors, said: "‘The present times are most difficult. We all hope and pray that sane counsels will prevail. The rearmament programme, combined with the large number of the younger generation joining the services, may result in older seafaring men returning to the sea.”
