CONTROL OF SLUGS
In a recent article on the metaldehyde control of slugs and snails it was stated in ’'error that 2 grapnmes was recommended for mixing with 8 to 10 ounces of bran. This should have read 4 grammes. It should be noted that 28 grammes approximately equals one ounce ayerdupois. A simple way for users to arrive at 4 grammes is to divioe one ounce into 7 equal parts on a sheet of paper and then mix one part with the 8 10 ounces of bran.
