PACT WITH SOVIET
ANTICIPATION IN FRANCE AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE. POSSIBLE WITHIN 48 HOURS. (Independent Cable Service.) LONDON, July 3. It is authoritatively stated in Paris that a pact with the Soviet Union may now be concluded in principle within 48 hours. The Foreign Office has received a report from the Ambassador in Moscow, Sir William Seeds, on yesterday’s Anglo-French talks' with the Soviet Foreign Commissar, M Molotov. It is not likely, however, that Mr Chamberlain at question time in the House of Commons tomorrow will have anything of importance to add to his earlier statements regarding the Moscow negotiations.
