PRODUCTION OF MUNITIONS IN AUSTRALIA. 1 REPORT BY MINISTER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Minister for Supply, Mr R. G. Casey, announced that production at two of the munitions annexes set up by the Commonwealth Government in railway workshops and private engineering shops would begin in about six weeks’ time and added that progress reports indicated that by the end of the year twenty-three annexes would be in operation.
