According to news agency reports from Moscow, there were conversations at the Kremlin today lasting two hours between M Molotov and the British and French Ambassadors, together with the Foreign Office, official, Mr William Strang. The initiative in today’s talks, it is understood, came from the French and British side, and it is anticipated there will be a further exchange of views soon—perhaps tomorrow—when the Russian rejoiner will be heard.
