PHYSICK CUP & MAIDEN STAKE. DRAW FOR TOMORROW. At an executive meeting of the Wairarapa Coursing Club held last night in the Y.M.C.A. arrangements for the meeting on Saturday for the Physick Cup and Maiden Stake were completed. __ The Maiden event has drawn a good field of ten dogs, and some interesting ties should be witnessed. In the Cup high-class dogs will be seen in action and when slipped onto the strong, fast hares, good coursing should be the order of the afternoon. The following is the draw: — , ■Maiden Stakes: Butcher Bros.’ Rerenoa meets Mrs L. Jones’s Flying Joe; Mrs W. Williams’s Orui Girl meets Mr Lethaby’s Kelly N.S.; Mr J. Hare’s Golden Gem meets Mr J. Hanly’s Black Magic; Mr W. Mosen’s Betty Boop meets Mr R. Southey’s Attarere; Mr. W. Mosen’s White Legion meets Archer Bros.’ Trouble. Physick Cup: Mr W. L. Jensen’s Helen Rufus meets Mrs L. Jones’s The Slam; Mr W. L. Jensen’s Snowdrift meets Mr D. Wilson’s Big Ben; Archer Bros.’ Golden King meets Mr J. Hare’s The Trump. The following are the officials: — Judge, Mr S. D. Geary; slipper, Mr W. L. Buick; assistant slipper, Mr R. McEwan: hare steward, Mr L. M. Archer; stimulant stewards. Messrs. D. Grimwood and F. E. Allen; call steward, Mr D. Grimwood; gate-keeper, Mr R. Andrew. The first course will commence at 1.45 p.m.

All dogs beaten in the first round in both events will run in a combined consolation for a trophy provided by the club.
