IN THE TREATY PORTS

QUIETER CONDITIONS REPORTED NO CHANGE AT SWATOW. SUPPLIES OF FOODSTUFFS REACH TIENTSIN. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, June 29. “The Times” Shanghai correspondent says large supplies of fresh foodstuffs have entered Tientsin. There were only short delays at the barriers. The situation at Swatow is unchanged. British ships continue to call, but they do not enter the harbour, but tranship their passengers to H.M.S. Scout, outside. The Navy authorities report that Britons have not evacuated Foochow. A Tientsin message states that the Concession is quiet and that searchers are less rigorous.
