COWS BRING GOOD PRICES. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co, Ltd, report as follow: We held a clearing sale at Taumata, Carterton, yesterday on behalf of Mr Keith Budd, when we offered his dairy herd, implements, sundries, etc. Cows sold well, the top price being £l7 5s for a high producing Jersey. Several others madeover £l2 and the average was £9. which was very satisfactory. Implements sold at prices which seem to favour the buyer. Hay made late rates, while brood sows between £5 10s to £6 ss, sows with litters. £5 1.5 s to £B.
