THE NEWEST CINDERELLA

UNBELIEVABLE VOICE RANGEHollywood’s newest Cinderella is Linda Ware, a 13-year-old orphan from Ohio, who is astounding studio music departments by hitting notes beyond even the range of Lily Pons. Discovered in an orphanage in Steubenville. Ohio, she is under contract to Charles R. Rogers, who produces for Universal. She is said to have the almost unbelievable voice range of three and onehalf octaves. She can hit a C above high C and she can sing as low as E. Her vocal efforts are vouched for by the head of Paramount’s music department. The little girl is almost scared stiff by the sudden spotlight of fame. You will hear and see her first in Bing Crosby’s "The Star Maker.”
