Mrs A. Griffiths, of Stratford, is on a visit to Pahiatua. Mrs W. G. Whiteman, Masterton, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs C. Hopkins, of Makairo, is spending a holiday at Auckland. Mrs Hopkinson has returned to Ohakune after spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs A. Olliver, of Makairo. Mr and Mrs W. Barrett, of Pahiatua. have returned home after a motor tour of the north. Mrs J. Reid, of Eketahuna, spent the weekend in Hastings as the guest of relatives. Mrs Oakenfull, formerly of Masterton, is the guest of Mrs Wooding, Pine Street, Masterton. Mrs Gray is a Wellington visitor to Grey town and is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs F. A. Ridgley. Mrs G. Noad, of Lyall Bay, who has been the guest of Mrs A. E. Staniforth, of Masterton, has returned home. The death occurred yesterday at the residence of her sister, Mrs Bergh, Featherston, of Mrs Ada Tabart, formerly of Wanganui. Miss Rosalind Arkwright, of Marton, and formerly of Masterton, who has been spending several weeks in Auckland with Mrs T. Copeland Savage, of Remuera. has returned home. Mr and Mrs Alfred Treseder, Tiro Tiro Road, Levin, recently celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding. They were married in Granity on May 29, 1889, and later went to Wellington and resided in Lower Hutt for a number of years before going to Levin, where they have lived for the last 19 years.
