LAST MEETING OF GROUP ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW ORGANISATIONS. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The thirteenth annual meeting of the council of the Dominion Group Herd Testing Federation, held today, was largely attendee} by delegates. This is the last meeting of the federation, which goes out of existence in view of the present organisation of herd testing being superseded and embodied in the Dairy Board, which has received the approval and support of the Government and the industry. The conference was opened by Mr Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, who congratulated the pioneers of herd testing work and said the Government was sympathetic with the herd improvement plan to the extent of granting £15,000 yearly for two years, after which the subsidy will be reviewed. The Minister assured them of his co-operation and help.
