It is officially announced that serious fighting occurred last month on the Outer Mongolia-Manchukuo border. The Outer Mongolians were at first forced to retreat but Japanese and Manchurian troops were subsequently repulsed, leaving four hundred killed and many wounded. The Mongolians lost forty killed and 70 wounded.
