The annual Rugby match between Auckland University College and Massey College was won by the latter by 24 points to 18, after an evenly contested game. Tries for Massey College were scored by Terry (2), Seeley and Stewart, McLaren converting three and kicking two penalty goals. Edwards, Thornton, Mackie and MacRae scored tries for Auckland University College, Cawkwell converting three .
