MAURICEVILLE DAIRY CO.

MANUFACTURE FOR THE YEAR. MEETING OF DIRECTORS. At the monthly meeting of the directors of the Mauriceville Co-op Dairy Co.. Mr V. K. Lemberg (chairman), presided, all members being present. Mr Lemberg made reference to the death of Messrs A. Falkner, Kaiparoro, and J. Watson, District Secretary of the Farmers’ Union. A motion of deep sympathy with the relatives of both deceased was carried. For the year ended May 31 the output was 9451 tons, showing a decrease of 49 tons as compared with that of last year. This drop of only five per cent was considered very satisfactory, taking into account the extremely dry period experienced during the season. It was decided to make a further payment of 2d per lb on all butterfat supplied from June 1. 1938 to May 31, 1939. This payment will be made on July 20. >
