MAN BREAKS LEG
WHILE SAWING A LOG. While engaged in sawing a log near the hospital swing bridge on Monday afternoon, Mr T. Pickett, Senr., of Masterton, met with an accident which resulted in the breaking of one of his legs. The log which was rotten in one part suddenly broke in two, one piece rolling back on to Mr Pickett’s leg, fracturing it. Mr' Pickett was taken tc the Masterton Hospital for treatment, and he is doing as well as can be expected. '
