AIR FORCE RECRUITS

HIGH FIGURES MAINTAINED IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 19. There are still no signs of a diminution of the high rate of intake into the Royal Air Force, which has been the feature of recent months. Last week 1034 recruits joined, compared with 407 in the corresponding week last year, bringing the total entry of pilots, observers, airmen and boys since April 1 to 10,677, compared with 3851 in the corresponding period last year.
