Clark, who have been residents of Nikau for many years, are to be tendered a farewell social this week. Mrs R. Riley and Miss J. Riley, of Bannister Street, Masterton, have returned from a holiday spent in the Nelson district. Mr and Mrs George Prouse, of Wanganui, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Hoar. Cambridge Terrace, Masterton. At the Catholic Church, . Greytown, on Sunday morning, Father Devlin, on behalf of the congregation, presented Mrs B. Stephenson (nee Miss Nora Bouzaid), with a travelling rug in honour of her recent marriage.
