Mrs W. G. Callender, of Makomako, is visiting Heretaunga. Mr and Mrs W. R. Nicol, of Chapel Street. Masterton, are on a visit to Wellington. Mr and Mrs A. P. Bennett, who spent the last two weeks in Wellington. have returned home. Miss E. Card and Miss A. E. Woodhead are Wairarapa visitors to Wellington. • Miss Patricia Quirk, of Dunedin, is visiting Masterton and is the guest of Miss G. M. Collinge, Hogg Crescent. Mr and Mrs J. Jergus Mills are the guests of Mr and Mrs A. P. Bennett, Renall Street. Masterton. Mr and Mrs McGill, of Wellington, are on a visit to Masterton and are staying at the Empire Hotel. Mr and Mrs J. C. Mabey, wellknown residents of Taita, celebrated their golden wedding last Saturday, Mr and Mrs F. C. Clark, who have been residents of Nikau for many years, are to be tendered a farewell social this week. Mrs R. Riley and Miss J. Riley, of Bannister Street, Masterton, have returned from a holiday spent in the Nelson district. Mr and Mrs George Prouse, of Wanganui, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Hoar. Stephenson (nee Miss Nora Bouzaid), with a travelling rug in honour of her recent marriage.
