The new British Army marching order, column of threes, is to be adopt ■ ed shortly in territorial units in Christchurch, according to advice received from the Army authorities. For the new formation, which was adopted only recently by the British authorities, the troops fall in in three ranks and remain in that formation fqi changing direction. With the abolition of the order "form fours’ a method ol simplifying Army routine will be brought into force. Motorists will appreciate the change, as it is thought that in the reduced width a column marching along a road will not cause delay or inconvenience to traffic.
