SUDDEN DISASTER
EXPLOSION ON FUELLING BARGE FLYING-BOAT DESTROYED. ONE MAN MISSING. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, June 19. The flying-boat Connemara was refuelling from a barge at Hythe when an explosion occurred setting fire to the barge, from which, owing to the heat and flames, it was impossible to uncouple the flying-boat, which in a few moments also caught fire and was burnt out. One man is missing.
