CLAY AGGREGATE COMPETITION. G. BRETHERTON TOP SCORER. <• The Masterton Gun Club continued the clay aggregate on Saturday, and ab though the conditions were ideal, the shooting .was not of the usual high standard. Mr G. Bretherton was top scorer for this week. The following are some of the leading scores:—G. Bretherton (16) 19, H. K. Smith (17) 17. R. J. King (17) 17, A. Macalister (16) 17, F. Taplin (19) 15. Several others shot. In the B grade T. A. Brown and R. W. Fuge tied with 18. Yankee shoot (10 birds):—R. J. King shot all his birds in this match, and H. K. Smith. A. Macalister and R. W. Fuge shot 9 each. Next weekend the Club will hold another big shoot, and if the weather is suitable a big attendance of competitors is expected.
