Hopes for the safety of the 12 men aboard the launch Nerita vanished when a pilot steamer found a capsized dinghy, bearing the name Nerita, between Cape Morton and Colundra, at the spot where the missing party intended to fish.Eleven men and a youth left Brisbane on Saturday, June 10. in the 45foot motor launch Nerita, for the open sea north of Cape Moreton, on a fishing expedition. An intensive search by air and sea was instituted on Wednesday last, and continued on suceeding days.
