Brooks, of Greytown, is on a visit to Palmerston North. Miss Bellis, of Masterton, is staying with Mrs W. Innes, Pirinoa. Mrs S. L. P. Free, of Masterton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs F. J. Pike, of Masterton, is at present on a visit to New Plymouth. Captain and Mrs Grace-White, of Wellington, are guests at the Hotel Midland. Miss Audrey Stilborn, Tinui, is the guest of the Misses Stilborn, Pownall Street, Masterton. Mrs H. Drummond (Gisborne) is the guest of Mrs Archer Hosking, Church Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs R. McGarry, of Greytown, will shortly take up their residence in Levin. Mrs O. Nickolaison, of Mauriceville West, was a visitor to Palmerston North during show week. The friends in Masterton of Mrs Harry Hodge, of Alton, Taranaki, will regret to learn that she is at present a patient in the New Plymouth Hospital. Mr and Mrs V. Welch, of Michael Street, Masterton, are visitors to Taihape for the wedding anniversary celebrations of Mr and Mrs E. R. Welch. The resignation of the matron, Miss Bowen, was received with regret at the monthly meeting of the ladies’ auxiliary of the Eoys‘ Institute, Wellington, this week.
