MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT

OCCUPANTS LUCKY ESCAPE. A motor accident occurred on the Masterton-Carterton road last night about 6.15 o’clock beyond the Waingawa bridge but fortunately without injury to anybody. It appears that a bus was coming towards Masterton and pulled over to pass a motor car which was parked on the side owing to a puncture. A small car, containing a man and his wife and three children, was following behind the bus and pulled out beyond the bus with the result that it got into some loose gravel and capsized one and a half times, leaving the vehicle with the wheels in the air. The occupants were not injured but the car received minor damage. A collision occurred between two motor cars in Queen Street opposite the Catholic Church last night, one of the cars being badly damaged.
