CHURCH SERVICES
At St. Matthew’s Church on Sunday the near will deal with a Christian's duty in the present' world situation. In the morning he will speak on “Moral Rearmament,” and in the evening on “A Chronic Crisis.” Services at other centres will be as usual, and in addition junior confirmation classes begin at St. Matthew’s and Kuripuni at 4 p.m.. and at Upper Plain at 2 p.m. The special monthly musical service will be held in the Methodist Church on Sunday evening, when the soloist will be Miss O’Donnell, and a duet will be rendered by Mrs Speight and Miss Jamieson. The senior choir will render the anthem, “Just,As I Am,” and the service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred. J. Parker. At the morning service Mr C. R. Goudge will be th“preacher, ' and his subject will “Startling Disclosures Concerning the Water Supply.” At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred. J. Parker, with the sacrament of Holy Communion to follow. In the eevening cars will, leave the church at 6.50 p.m. for Ihe town church service. The Mount Bruce Methodist service tomorrow at 2 p.m. will be conducted by the Rev. Fred. J. Parker. At the Public Hospital at 3 p.m. tomorrow the Methodist church, choir will render a service of song. The services tomorrow at the Salvation Army will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. The Major will be the speaker in each service, when he will take for his subject in the morning service, “The Sin of Unbelief, ’ and in the evening, “Man’s Only Hope Against Sin.” All are heartily invited to these services.
