SWIMMING CLUB DANCE
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. The Masterton Swimming Club dance held in the Masonic Hall last night was an outstanding success. The president, Mr H. E. Pither presented trophies won during the season as follows: — Junior girls’ championship, H. M. Peacock. Memorial cup: A. Stains. Junior boys’ championship, H. M. Peacock. Memorial cup: G. Whyborn. Wairarapa Inter-Collegiate girls championship: P. Davis. Senior ladies’ championship, J. J. Barnes Cup: Miss P. Andrews. Masterton Inter-club cup: P. Webb (P.N.). Senior"diving championship: V. McKeague. Breaststroke, senior men: J. Barnes. Breaststroke, junior men: F. G. Milne. Primary school championship, A. A. Wilson Cup: E. Donnes (Greytown). A. W. G. Rollings Cup, aggregate points, junior diving: E. Hollings. Junior girl attending most night meetings: A. and N. Stains, equal. The many dancers enjoyed music supplied by Barnes’s Orchestra, and a dainty supper was served.
