“FARIS HONEYMOON" TONIGHT. Four new hit tunes destined for high positions on the “most played" lists, are heard for the first time in “Paris Honeymoon,” Paramouni's new Bing Crosby comedy, which win ue shown tonight at the Regent Theatre. The songs are “The Funny Old Hills,” “I Have Eyes,” “You're A Sweet Little Headache” and “Joobalai.” Besides Bing, the singing is done by Shirley Ross and Franciska Gaal, while Akim Tamiroff, Edward Everett Horton and Ben Blue are on hand to see that the comedy runs continuously and smoothly. '“Paris Honeymoon” is the story of a young American millionaire who is forced to go to Paris in order to expedite a divorce for Miss Ross, with whom he is in love. In Paris lie meets Tamiroff, a castle salesman and general factotum of a Balkan country known as “Pushtainick..” In “Pushtalnick,” Bing meets a beautiful little peasant girl, played by Miss Gaal, and loses his heart to her. From there on things get pretty complicated and high comedy takes the helm. Tamiroff, who is one of the fastest-rising actors in Hollywood, turns in an excellent performance as the salesman, proving himself a comedian of no mean ability. Up to now he has played “heavies’” and villains, and the public will be probably demanding to see him in more comedy roles. Also worthy of honourable mention are the performances by Edward Everett Horton and Ben Blue. Franciska Gaal provides one of the finest portrayals ever seen on the screen and will charm the audience. She falls in love with Bing but Bing is engaged to Shirley Ross, which complicates matters but which is also responsible for much of the excellent comedy in the picture. Shirley Ross has her first straight acting role where she does not have to depend upon her singing only to “put her across.” “YOUNG DR. KILDARE.” One of the most outstanding pictures of the year, “Young Dr. Kildare,” will be shown at the Regent Theatre on

Saturday night. There is drama and romance nicely blended in the story and a very strong human touch. The grim drama that exists in the emergency ward of a great hospital, the tense lives of those who work there and the tender romance of the struggling young doctor makes a story that every picture-patron should see. Lionel Barrymore gives an outstanding performance ii> this picture as docs Low Ayres as Dr. Kildare.
