HEREFORD AND RED POLL ASSOCIATIONS. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Tnletrranh—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ This Day. The New Zealand Hereford Cattle Breeders Association recorded a satisfactory year at its annual meeting. Officers were elected as follow: — President, Mr R. Hutchinson (Gisborne); treasurer,. Mr E. E. Short (Cheltenham); Council: Messrs E. Jeffersen (Wairoa), W. K. Morton (Silverhope), D. Tynan (Waitomo); W. B. White (Takapau). The Red Poll Breeders’ Association elected the following officers: —Patron, Sir Heaton Rhodes; President, Mr G. R. Foster-Pratt (Palmerston North); Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. Donaldson (Stirling, Otago); W. Leask (Hamilton); council: Messrs L. C. and G. Anderson (Wanganui), J. M. Campbell (Feilding): J. Donaldson, Forster-Pratt, J. W. Harding, Leask. G. McLeod (Wanganui), M. Fleming (Stirling, Otago), L. J. Wild (Feilding), H. Wilson (Huntly), C. H. Methell (North Canterbury); hon secretary and treasurer, Mr Wild. DAIRY BREEDS MEETING OF FEDERATION. PALMERSTON N„ This Day. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Dairy Breeds Federation. Mr J. Parlane (Christchurch) was re-el-ected president and Mr J. H. Allan (Hatuma) vice-president. Owing t othe healthy state of the finances, it wsa decided to call up only half the annual subscription of the affiliated bodies.
