The New Zealand Hereford Cattle Breeders Association recorded a satisfactory year at its annual meeting. Officers were elected as follow: — President, Mr R. Hutchinson (Gisborne); treasurer,. Mr E. E. Short (Cheltenham); Council: Messrs E. Jeffersen (Wairoa), W. K. Morton (Silverhope), D. Tynan (Waitomo); W. B. White (Takapau). The Red Poll Breeders’ Association elected the following officers: —Patron, Sir Heaton Rhodes; President, Mr G. R. Foster-Pratt (Palmerston North); Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. Donaldson (Stirling, Otago); W. Leask (Hamilton); council: Messrs L. C. and G. Anderson (Wanganui), J. M. Campbell (Feilding): J. Donaldson, Forster-Pratt, J. W. Harding, Leask. G. PALMERSTON N„ This Day. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Dairy Breeds Federation. Mr J. Parlane (Christchurch) was re-el-ected president and Mr J. H. Allan (Hatuma) vice-president. Owing t othe healthy state of the finances, it wsa decided to call up only half the annual subscription of the affiliated bodies.
