TRUBY KING MEMORIAL
POOR SUPPORT THUS FAR. MASTERTON COMMITTEE REITERATES APPEAL. At the meeting of the Masterton branch of the Plunket Society yesterday, the president (Mrs J. Caselberg) expressed regret at the poor response to the Truby King Memorial Fund appeal. It was agreed that all should again be urged to show their appreciation of the great movement instituted by Sir Truby King, which is of incalculable value, and help to the Empire. No donation is too small, and the committee trusts that the public will not fail the society in its effort to establish a fitting memorial to one who gave his all to benefit humanity.
