MISSING MAN

SEARCH FOR MR FALKNER. SOME TRACES DISCOVERED. Search • parties yesterday afternoon did not succeed in finding any trace of the missing Kaiparoro settler, Mr Alfred Falkner. Latest advices show that late this morning the hat and stick of the missing man were found on l\lr J. Smith’s fence lino, adjoining Mr Falkner's property, about two miles from the place where he was last seen, while shortly afterwards further traces were discovered near the Makakahi Stream about another mile further on.
