JUVENILE OFFENDERS

SEVERAL MASTERTON CASES. Several juveniles wore dealt with in the Children’s Court this morning by Mr H. P. Lawrv, S.MOn charges of theft from a dwelling, three offenders were admonished and discharged and another boy was similarly dealt with for theft of letters from boxes at'private houses. On charges of theft of machinery nt Mt Bruce, one offender was given two years' probation and two others were placed under the supervision of the Child Welfare Officer for two years. The magistrate ordered them to make restitution of the amount obtained by the sale of the stolen property and not to associate with each other. The two younger boys arc not to be allowed out at nights after 8 o'clock unless accompanied by an adult relative or by the permission- of the Welfare Officer. .
