Radio communication has been established with H.M.S. Manchester, which is stationed at Diego Garcia. Governor Ross, of Cocos Island, showed Captain Taylor the workshops and building 'yards established at Home Island (adjoining Cocos). Captain Taylor was impressed with the facilities provided there, which are suitable for dealing' with repairs to aircraft; also with the many evidences of splendid cratsmanship employed in boat building.
