Ten started, including Capaneus. Two lengths; three-quarters of a length. Time, 3.411. Winter’ Plate: Golden Pam (Parsons) 1; Vestal 2; Will Rogers 3. Eleven started. Head: three lengths. VICTORIA PARK MEETING. BUCKMAN WINS BIRTHDAY HANDICAP. MELBOURNE, June 12. The chief results at the Victoria Park Racing Club’s Birthday meeting held today were as follow: — Princess Handicap: Romany Chief (A. Reed) 1: Drearnsome 2; Cape Sable 3. Twelve started. Head; two lengths. Time. 1.312. Birthday Handicap: Ruckman (Badger) 1: Desert Chief 2; Minim 3. Ten started. One length and a quarter'; three lengths. Time. 2.425.
