SCORCH MARKS ON LINEN
A USEFUL HINT. Make a paste of borax and glycerine and smear this well over the marks. Leave for about 2 hours and then sponge off with some soap and water. Unless the marks are very deep and have burnt right into the material, this treatment should restore it completely.
