FEATHERSTON
ST. TERESA CHURCH • SUCCESSFUL MISSION. (“Times-Age” Special.) A mission at St Teresa Church which was held during the past week and concluded yesterday, was conducted by the Rev Father Duffy of the Redemptorist Order, Wellington, and was very successful. There were record attendances. Special services were held on Thursday and Saturday, the altar being specially decorated for the occasion. Golf Club Competitions. The second round for the medal competition held on Saturday, resulted as follows: —D. Carlyon 87-18-69, receives 3 points; D. Howells 88-17-71, receives 2 points; H. Lovegrove 96-24-72, receives 1 point. The annual home-and-away match with Martinborough will be playednext Saturday, the first 8 playing a! Martinborough and the second 8 at Featherston. On Sunday, the return match with Pirinoa will be played at Pirinoa. St John’s Church Organ. A new electric organ is to be installed in St John’s Church shortly.
