AIR FORCE RESERVE
SIXTY APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FROM MASTERTON. A fairly generous response has been made in the Masterton district to the Government’s appeal for enrolments in the Civil Reserve of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Advice has been received from the Air Secretary, Mr T. A. Barrow. that 60 men from the Masterton j district have applied for positions as aircraftsmen, including storemen, clerks, mechanics, fitters and riggers. This would prove that people in Masterton are becoming air-minded and wherever possible, are volunteering for work associated with the New Zealand Air Force.
