WELLINGTON PRICES. There was keen competition for the large offering of sheepskins and hides at the sale held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. Sheepskins: Sound-pelted, fullwoolled lines showed little change on last sale’s rates, but short wools and pelts were about Id to 3d a lb lower. Hides: Light and medium ox were unchanged, with heavy grades ,‘,d lower. Cow hides, also kip and yearling, showed” an improvement of 1-8 to jd a lb, while calf were ,jd to Jd better. The range of prices is as follows: — Dry sheepskins: Halfbred, sjd to 83d; fine crossbred, 7*,d to 9d; medium crossbred, 6d to 9d; coarse crossbred, 6.!d to 9d; half-wools, sjd to Bjd; quarter-wools, 43d to 6,3 d; pelts, 13d to 3id. Salted skins: Half-wools, to 3s 6d. Hides: Ox, 331 b to 441 b, 51d to 5 7-8 d; 451 b to 521 b, 6d to 6,jd; 531 b to 591 b, 4 3-8 d to 6 3-8 d; 601 b to G9lb, to 6 3-8 d; 701 b and over, 6d to 6 5-Bd. Cow. 331 b to 391 b, 31d to 6 l-8d; 401 b to 481 b, 4 l-8d to 5 7-8 d; 491 b and over, 43d to 6 l-Bd. Kip, 251 b to 321 b, 4 5-8 d to 6 3-8 d; 171 b to 241 b, 5 l-8d to 7 3-Bd.
