Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 29.73; shade _ temperature, maximum G 1.7, minimum 40.7; terrestrial, 31.4; sunshine, 8 hours 9 minutes. LONGBUSH WEATHER. Mr A. C. Gawith. Waikoukou, Longbush, reports: The rainfall for May was 123 points, distributed over 12 days in small falls, the greatest being 37 points on May 25. The May average for the last 23 years was 581 points. The aggregate average of the first five months of the year for that period was 1346 points. This year only 593 points fell. Weather forecast: Light to fresh westerly winds later turning to southwesterlies. In many places scattered showers possible, chiefly in and west of the ranges, but weather mainly fair. Temperatures cold with frosts inland.
