WOMEN’S DIVISION TALK ON VISIT TO AUSTRALIA. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mrs R. J. Harman Senr., presided over a well-attended meeting of the Women's Division of the Farmers’ Union held in the Tiraumea Hall on Thursday. It was decided to send a delegate to the Women's Division Conference in July. After a dainty afternoon tea had been served by the hostesses, Mrs Harman Senr., who returned recently from a trip to Australia, read extracts from her diary and gave an interesting account of her tour.

The competition for the wandering shilling was won by Mrs R. J. Harman Junr., while the knitting competition was won by Miss Edna Wallis with Miss Dorothy Hart second. The meeting concluded with the singing of “God Save The King.”
