“ALWAYS IN TROUBLE.” Tonight there will be shown at the State Theatre an outstanding picture — the latest Jane Withers comedy, “Always in Trouble,” with Arthur Treacher and Jean Rogers in supporting roles. She is cast' as a little rich girl who yearns for the days when her* father was not beset by investment worries, and when her mother was not occupied in social climbing. When a messenger arrives with some special documents for her father to read, and she finds him asleep in the servants’ quarters, Jane suggests to the messenger that he take her father’s place at the helm of the family yacht, as they are all ready to leave on a fishing cruise. He does so, and the family believe they have been kidnapped. True to the title' of the film, Jane manages to wreck the yacht, get them all cast away on an island, and almost really kidnapped by smugglers. Songs and dances with crisp wisecracks, romance and gaiety. It is undoubtedly Jane Withers’s funniest film. A pretty little story makes the second film, “Melody and Romance,” most enjoyable.
