NAZI TYRANNY
TREATMENT OF CZECH CITY FOLLOWING ON MURDER OF POLICEMAN. WHOLE COMMUNITY TO SUFFER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, June 8. A British United Press correspondent in Prague states the Baron von Neurath has returned from Berlin and has imposed a most rigorous proclamation upon the city of Kladno, as the sequel to the murder of a German policeman. The proclamation forbade open air meetings, closed cinemas and schools and deposed the Mayor of the city, councillors and the police. It appointed a German commissioner and ordered the closing of doors and windows from 2 p.m. to 5 a.m. Those open would be fired on. More severe measures are threatened if the murderer is not taken into custody by tomorrow.
