Knight Bachelor: — Norman Everard Brockes, president of the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia; Gerald Mussen; Professor Ernest Scott. NEW SOUTH WALES. Knight of the British Empire:— Percival Haise Rogers, of the New South Wales Supreme Court Bench. Knight Bachelor:— Norman Lindfield Nock, Lord Mayor cf Sydney. VICTORIA Knight Bachelor:— The Hon William Charles Angliss, Australian industrialist. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Knight Commander of St Michael an-cl St George:— Richard Layton Butler, former premier. BRITISH AWARDS DUKE OF KENT PROMOTED. MR MAX BEERBOHM .KNIGHTED. (Received This Day, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, June 7. In the Birthday honours the Duke cf Kent is promoted to the ranks of Rear-Admiral, Major-General and Air Vice-Marshal. Mr Max Beerbohm becomes a Knight Bachelor. Other honours are: — Knight Commander of St Michael and St George:— Mr Edward Wilshaw, managing director of Cables and Wireless. Knight Bachelor:— Philip Edward Haldin, Thomas Drummond Shiels, Francis Carnegie, chief superintendent of ordnance factories to the War Office.
