GOLF TOURNEY
RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CONTEST. THIS MORNING'S RESULTS. The Returned Soldiers’ golf tournament, an annual event, is being held on the Riverside Golf Club’s links today. Splendid entries have been received, including visitors from Wellington, Wanganui and elsewhere. This morning a Stableford competition and medal round were played and this afternoon will be devoted to a contest for the Campbell Heard Cup. Results are: — Medal round: G. R. Booth, 1. Stableford competition: J. C. Feast and F. C. Stowell (equal), 1.
