DISPERSAL SALE
PA VIEW JERSEYS. GOOD PRICES REALISED. There was a big attendance at Mr. Gordon’s dispersal sale conducted by Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and C 0... Ltd., at Greytown on Tuesday. There was a very strong local inquiry, and buyers were present from outside districts 'as far away as Westport. The cattle came forward in excellent condition and without exception were a first-class lot, reflecting great credit on Mr. Gordon. Most of the offering either had produced good butterfat records, or had wonderfully good backing. From the start the sale went with a swing, and although outside huyers were bidding freely, local breeders were not to be denied, and most of the high-priced cattle remained in the district.
