WANGANUI VERSUS TARANAKI. A DRAWN GAME. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI. This Day. The Wanganui and Taranaki representative teams drew, 9 all, in a match played today. In the early stages Taranaki did most of the attacking. D. P. Toro opened the scoring with a fine field goal. Taranaki led by 4/0 at half time. In the second spell Brown scored for Taranaki, Meuli converting. McPike (Wanganui) cut through fast to send Barton across for a try. Wanganui scored two more tries and the game ended 9 all.
