BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES. DETAILS OF SATURDAY’S SALES. The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges on Saturday:—

GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Mossy Creek dredge returned 370 z for 122 hours from 5398 yards. The New River return totalled 560 z for 130 hours from 10,500 yards. The White’s Electric dredge returned 58oz for 129 hours from 7840 yards. The Kaneiri return for the month of May was 13170 z for 439 hours from 206,000 yards. The Barrytown dredge for the month of May returned 5910 z for 448 hours from 21,000 yards. Worksop Extended report that no washup took place last week. The Nemona dredge return 20oz for 119 hours from 8500 yards. Alexander Mines Ltd. give the following return for May:—Battery department: 305 tons of ore crushed for 98oz of smelted gold, Cyanide department: 320 tons of sands treated for 460 z bullion. Total estimated value £lO4O. In addition 6.75 tons of concentrates were saved valued at £2lO. Note: In estimating the above values gold has been taken at 150 s a ' fine ounce. WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION. INITIAL SHARE DISTRIBUTION. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 4. An initial distribution of 2s a share has been made to shareholders of the Waihi Grand Junction Gold Mining Co., Ltd., following the recent decision for the company to go into voluntary liquidation. ' A circular to shareholders states that having now realised sufficient of the assets for an initial distribution, the balance will be realised as and when the market is favourable. A further distribution will be made in due course subject to all the company’s liabilities being met.
