WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT PLAY IN QUALIFYING ROUND. 1 A. R. KITTO’S GOOD SCORE. Over 80 entries have been received for the Wairarapa golf championship, the qualifying round of which was commenced at ■ the Masterton Club's links this morning. At the lime of going to press, A. R. Kitto had return ■ ed the best car, his score reading 70. T. H. Horton, the defending champion, came next with a score of 76, while J. P. Hornabrook registered 79.
