RETURNING) TO LONDON. CHINESE AMBASSADOR SEES LORD HALIFAJ. (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. The Prime Minister (Mr N. Chamberlain) and Mrs Chamberlain, who are still in the country, go to Chequers tomorrow for the weekend, and it is probable that they will return to Downing Street on Sunday night. Parliament reassembles on Monday. The Chinese Ambassador, Mr Quo Taichi, had an interview today with Lord Halifax.
