FOLLOWED BY LANDSLIDES l-OURTEEN PERSONS KILLED. GREAT DAMAGE DONE TO WHEAT CROP. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) TURIN, June 2. Torrential hail and rain storms, sweeping the peninsula, greatly damaged the Italian wheat crop. Some 35,000 acres are already under water. Fourteen persons were killed and over 200 rendered homeless, as the result of extensive landslides from mountains, which were shaken by earthquakes.
