Further fighting has occurred on the Manchukuoan frontier. Japanese planes are reported to have attacked Mongols massing at the River Hhalha. The Manchukuoan Army claims to have defeated the Mongols in a pitched battle, killing 800 men, and capturing twelve tanks, numerous guns and prisoners, included a number of Russians.
