TEN-YEAR PACT

The Danish non-agression pact with Germany states that neither party will make war or support war waged on the part of a third Power. The treaty is to last for ten years. EFFECT EXPLAINED. NO RESTRICTION ON TRADE IN WAR TIME. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, June 1. A Copenhagen message states that ! the Foreign Minister, Dr P. R. Munch, explained that the effect of the pact was that Denmark had promised to remain neutral in any war between Germany and other Powers, but leaves both countries a free hand to trade with whomsoever they wish in war time.
